Kingdom Hope. Your local faith community.
The heart and vision behind Kingdom Hope
Kingdom Hope belongs to the International Network of Churches (INC) movement and has been a part of the local community for over 30 years.
We are a Presence-driven church. When we gather together, we pursue and expect to meet with Jesus, encounter Him and be formed more into His likeness.
We are revivalists at heart and the corporate heartbeat when we
gather is a presence-driven service centred around an encounter with the Spirit of a living God.
Kingdom Hope is where people from every walk of life can experience the love of God, be encompassed by the Grace and Truth of Jesus and encounter The Holy Spirit in increasing measure.
We will always endeavour to ensure that the welcome we give is
befitting of the invitation, we have been entrusted with.
In all that we do, we pursue Jesus with everything we have. We live as bringers of Good News and establishers of His Kingdom.
We tell people about Jesus, and when we lay hands on the sick, they
recover because our prayer lives are shaped by what we know of Heaven and not what we see on earth.
We speak Truth in love in both word and deed. We show kindness, grace, and love because, at our core, we believe that God is good and His heart is to bring His heaven to our world. That’s why the simple and complete pursuit of our faith is this – ‘as it is in heaven.’
God encounters & Spiritual formation
Everything we do is geared toward encountering God and being more like Jesus.
We want people to experience and encounter the living God right from the moment they drive onto the property, within our services and ministries and especially if they meet us in the community. We believe that if Jesus was the image of the invisible God, so too should we be.
God Encounters
God Encounters could happen in our services. But rather than being limited to just occurring in our weekly services, God encounters could happen anytime and anywhere. In a café, online, in a life group or simply in conversation. It could be when we pray for each other but, most certainly, in our interactions with our community. That’s why we serve others, pray for the sick in our community, restore the broken-hearted and live a message of hope for our world. We want those around us to encounter Him in all we do, church and marketplace alike.
Spiritual Formation
Spiritual Formation works hand in hand with God encounters. We create environments of discipleship where people are able to be formed more into the likeness of Christ as a result of encountering His grace. We submit ourselves to His Word. We are obedient to the Lordship of Holy Spirit. We share our faith walk with those we walk alongside, encourage and equip each other in the high points of our faith and lean on each other in the seasons of challenge. Our faith walk is guided by one simple question, are we more like Jesus today than we were yesterday?
Our Values
Honour
We honour God and honour people. We place the same value on people, relationships and everything else in our world that God does and we choose to see our world with heaven’s eyes.
Authenticity
What you see is what you get. There is no difference between our public life and our private lives because we believe in living authentically in a way that brings honour to God.
Excellence
Excellence is one of our most important forms of worship. Excellence to us is an attitude and not an outcome. We do our very best simply because He is worthy of our best.
Enthusiasm
We are so excited & passionate about the life God gave us. To serve with Him and join Him in His mission to spread the Word is the greatest honour of our lives. We serve because He first served us, we give because He first gave & we love because He first loved us.
