An Unbreakable Spirit Brings Breakthrough

Pray Till Pentecost – Breakthrough Devotion (4/4)

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”

We serve a God that eats breakthrough for breakfast. It’s not something He offers, it’s who He is. He’s consistent about it and generous with it. So if it’s who He is then the blood of Jesus sealed the deal- no matter what breakthrough we seek. It’s not coming, it’s here, phew!

Faith then is simply an act of taking what God has already provided. So if it’s a matter of faith, then we can either be ambitious or unassuming with it – which will either increase or limit our access to God’s existing breakthrough.

Stretching your faith to an uncomfortable level is hard, but not doing it is even harder. Don’t give up on your promise of breakthrough! He didn’t. He paid everything required for your breakthrough; it is now merely a matter of taking what grace has already provided. That’s why we sacrifice, pray, declare and having done all that; we stand! (Eph 6:13)

God is longing to celebrate the breakthrough with you, just like He did for Hannah.

Hannah believed that HE was a REWARDER, just as much as she believed that He was God. She believed He wanted to bless her with a child long before she was pregnant. Why else would she keep going back, year after year to the altar, the same altar where she would ultimately receive her breakthrough and see her prayers answered. Hannah persisted and petitioned, knowing God was willing and knowing God was her breakthrough. Hannah demonstrated an essential lesson in breakthrough.

An unbreakable spirit brings breakthrough.

Her physical circumstance did not move her vision of who God is.

I can just imagine the angels dancing when she held her breakthrough in her hands the day her child was born, because she could now hold the desires of her heart and touch the lovingkindness of her God.

Know this, God is ALWAYS seeking to bless you.

Be passionate about your breakthrough- let it be all you think and pray about, do not be lukewarm or stand with your fingers crossed that it might turn up.

Step into your breakthrough like Hannah did, knowing it’s promised and knowing the royal authority that you carry to declare it.

Stand firm in the understanding that God provides the measure of faith for each and every breakthrough you seek and are yet to testify.

Question:

How can you stretch your faith to ambitious faith, what would that sacrifice look like?

Keep going with your devotion
