"I want to choose Jesus"
To accept Jesus as your saviour is to accept His invitation for Him to love you. But what does accepting Him into your heart mean for you and your daily life? It’s completely normal to have questions and that’s why we’re here. We have a heart for God and His people and sharing the Great News of Jesus is what drives us everyday.
We love Him because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)
What saying yes to Jesus means...
The love of God is guaranteed to be unlike anything you have ever experienced. Once you turn your life over to Him to experience all that He has for you, His love brings salvation. Simply put, you are saved.
This acceptance of Him means being saved from an eternity spent without him. Not only that, salvation through Jesus Christ means that you have been healed, set free and made whole in Him.
At the very moment that you decide to accept Jesus and submit your life to all that He has for you, His presence will saturate your life and you will never be separated from Him again. It’s that simple.
Romans 10:9 says
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Set apart by God
God created you to be one of His children and the sacrifice of Jesus and everything we celebrate at Easter has made that possible. He gave His Son, so that you could be His child.
John 3:16 ‘For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.’
1 John 3:1 ‘See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.’

“God, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. Jesus, I want to choose you as the one I submit my life to. I know that I have done wrong in my life and that I cannot save myself.
By faith, I gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you Jesus as my Lord and my God.
I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Thank you for the gift of eternal life.
I believe your words are truth and I’m surrendering my heart and my life to you Lord Jesus and asking you to be my Saviour. Amen.”
